Fruits of the Spirit - Friday

I came across this challenging meme while doing my weekly research for blog topics.

The challenge is to take a look at each of the Fruits of the Spirit. One per week and to see where you are with the particular fruit.

So each Friday for the next (9) weeks I will be writing about what I have learned and how I have or have not implemented these fruits into my own walk with Christ. This learning experience will help me and maybe help others who may be struggling in some way.

For those who are not aware of just what the Fruits of the Spirit are I will list them below:

Love

Joy

Peace

Longsuffering (Patience)*

Gentleness (Kindness)*

Goodness

Faith

Meekness (Gentleness)*

Temperance (Self-control)*

Galatians 5:22-23 (KJV)

*Galatians 5:22-23 (TLB)

As an added bonus, I will be giving away a framed 4 x 6 version of the Fruit of the Spirit designed by Laurel Tree Creations. To qualify to be entered into the drawing you can do either of three things:

1. Sign-up for our newsletter (receive updates of new and exciting events)

One entry per blog post please

Anyone commenting or leaving feedback on more than one Fruit of the Spirit post will be entered into a drawing to receive a framed 8 x 10 version of the Fruit of the Spirit designed by Laurel Tree Creations.
