Day 9 (Lev. 14:33 – Lev. 26:26)  Laws & Obedience

Leviticus 26:2-4 (NKJV)

2 You shall keep My Sabbaths and reverence My sanctuary: I am the LORD.  3 ‘If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them, 4 then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

Leviticus 26:9 (NKJV)

9 ‘For I will look on you favorably and make you fruitful, multiply you and confirm My covenant with you.

How do you spread the word? What voice do you give to your ministry? The laws given to us by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ represent the blueprint by which we are to live. The life we live should reveal to the world the grace and mercy that can only be found by believing, trusting and having faith in God. These laws not only mold our character they renew our spirit and help us to love one another as the Father loves us.

Simple things like honoring thy Mother and Father teach to show respect for those who have come before us and who have more wisdom and knowledge to guide us. Keeping the Sabbath holy gives us the opportunity to rest from all that we have done, preparing our minds and body for the next step of our journey. No lying, stealing or deceiving gives one peace of mind.

By obeying the decrees and commands of the Lord we position ourselves to be open to the out pouring of his glorious blessings. He will look upon us with favor and make us fruitful. He will keep his covenant with us. We will be eating last year’s harvest when we will have to move it out to make room for the new. He will break our yoke and enable us to walk with our heads held high.

Doesn’t this sound like something that you would love to be a part of? Just follow the commands of the Father, be obedient in all he asks of you.

His peace and glory is yours for the asking.

Follow the Journey
