Day 2 (Gen. 17:1 – Gen. 28:19)

Trust

Genesis 17:6 (NKJV)

⁶ I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you.

The Lord’s covenant with Abram and Abram’s obedience brought forth a child even though Abram was old and his wife past child bearing age. When the Lord speaks and promises blessings they always come to pass. You see with our eyes the answer may seem unlikely to happen but we must remember that God has his own timing. 

We must trust and believe regardless of what we see. We must believe he is able. You have got to believe that all things are possible through him who strengthens us. We must also know that we will be tested as to our faithfulness. We say we believe, we trust the Lord. But do we really. When times are rough and things look bleak. Do we not lean to our own understanding or do we honestly trust the Lord? Go to him, lay our troubles at his feet. 

Build your relationship with the Father. He answers prayer, he always has and always will.
